HMS Renown, Nelson, Duke of York and Victorious, Operation Torch
Here we see four of the British warships that supported Operation Torch, from left to right HMS Renown, HMS Nelson, HMS Duke of York and overlapping with her HMS Victorious. The flight deck of Victorious is level with the skyline, her sizable island is the right-most superstructure, and how bow can just be made out with a pale patch seperating it from the bow of the Duke of York. The picture was taken at some point on 6-9 November 1942.
