Renault UE in Damascus, 1941
Here we see a Renault UE tracked prime mover of the Free French in Damascus after the Allied occupation of the city in 1941. Behind it is the Renault UK trailer, which more than doubled its carrying capacity. The watching crowd look fairly happy to see the Free French.
