Prince of Wales inspects Royal Naval Division, Horse Guards Parade, 1919
Here we see the Prince of Wales (the future Edward VIII) inspecting men from the 63rd (Royal Naval Division) on Horse Guards Parade on 6 June 1919, after their return from France. The division had originally been part of the Royal Navy and had served at Antwerp and Gallipoli, before moving to the Army in 1916 and serving on the Western Front.
