'Old Contemptibles' of Warwickshire Regiment, Birmingham, c.1919
Here we see a column of 'old contemptibles' of the Warwickshire Regiment marching through Birmingham on 21 May 1919 during a visit to the city by King George V. It is notable how few of these men are still in uniform, suggesting that many had been discharged wounded earlier in the war.
