Naval Night Battle off Syria, 1941
Here we see a British destroyer firing its guns in a night battle between British and Vichy warships off the coast of Syria or Lebanon during the allied invasion of Syria in 1941. This battle probably took place in June 1941, when there were a couple of surface clashes between Allied and Vichy warships.
