Right Sponson of Mark IV Heavy Tank

Here we see the 6-pounder gun in the right sponson of a Mark IV Male tank. The Mark IV was the most numerous British heavy tank of the First World War. The Male, with its two 6-pounder guns, was produced in slightly smaller numbers than the machine gun armed Female.
