Generals Mangin and Marchand meet on the Rhine, late 1918
Here we see General Charles Mangin (left) and General Jean-Baptiste Marchand greeting each other on a French pontoon bridge that had been built across the Rhine at St. Goar during the post First World War advance into Germany.
