First London HQ of League of Nations
Here we see the first London headquarters of the League of Nations, Sunderland House on Curzon Street, Mayfair. The house was leased from Consuelo, duchess of Marlborough, who had been using it as her London home (after seperating from the Duke in 1906). The Duchess didn't return to the house after the League left late in 1920.
