This picture shows Jack Lanning and part of the crew of G for George of No.86 Squadron. This picture was probably taken after the end of the war in Europe, when the squadron was used on trooping duties between Britain and India. The uniforms and backdrop would put this at the Indian end of the route.
From left to right on the back row we have:
Sgt Jack Hurrell, RAF, Rear gunner
F/O Lloyd Collins, RAF, 2nd Pilot
Can't read name
F/O Neville Baker, Bomb aimer
F/S Wally Kenney, RAF, Flight Engineer
On the front row are
F/S Ernest Henry (Little Ernie) Collett, RAAF, Beam Gunner
Albert ?? 'Jock'
Sgt Jack Lanning, RAF, Front Gunner
W/O Vince Seery, RAAF, Radar Operator
All but Lannig, whose picture this was, signed the back of the picture.
