HMSAS Imhoff enters Bengazi Harbour
Here we see the South African minesweeper HMSAS Imhoff as she became the first Allied ship to enter Bengazi Harbour after El Alamein. The harbour had been blocked with sunken ships and mines but was soon put back into action.
