Here we see some of the officers and crew of the T class submarine HMS Truant with her victory flag, on their return to a British port late in 1942 and a year and a half in the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean and Java Sea. The Truant underwent repairs and a refit after her return, but suffered from recuring engine problems and never returned to active service.
