Here we see the instruction page and certificates of qualifications in the flying log of E. Griffin. Griffin has three qualifications listed - AC2 Wireless Operator rated at 18 words per minute in morse code (5 December 1941), an air gunner (12 September 1942) and a W/AG Grade 1 and RDF Operation (1 July 1943). This last qualification was gained after he had already joined No.500 Squadron, and had spend several months serving as a W/AG (Wireless Operator/ Air Gunner).
