Here we see Gloster Nightjar H8535 from the rear. This was a naval fighter produced by fitting a Bentley BR.2 rotary engine to the Nieuport Nighthawk of 1918, an aircraft designed by the British Nieuport company but which failed because of its use of the unreliable ABC Dragonfly radial engine. Only twenty two were produced but the type did see service with the Fleet Air Arm.
