Here we see the first prototype of the Gloster F5/34 (K5604) from the right. This aircraft came from the same Air Ministry specification that produced the Hawker Hurricane, and by the time the Gloster aircraft was ready for air tests the Hurricane was already in production and the Spitfire under development, so the F5/34 never entered production.
