German Artillery hits Stalingrad
Here we see a German shell hitting and destroying a building in Stalingrad. By the end of the siege much of the city had been reduced to ruins, so this picture may date to early in the siege, or to the Soviet counterattacks later in the battle, where new areas were involved in the fighting.
