Here we see the front cover of the Log Book of Lt. D.W. Gay', who served with No.12 Squadron, SAAF, fighting in Italy in 1945. The decoration is a good version of the squadron quest. The log book also covers Gay's time in training, so gives a fascinating over-view of his entire flying career.
