This page from Lt. D.W. Gay's Log Book covers his flying experiences from 9-10 April 1945.
Operation 29 was an attack on enemy occupied buildings at Pasqualigo near Venice, to support the 8th Army. This time the result was a 'Good Apple' (the first), with 90% of bombs in the target area.
Operation 30 was an attack on eenmy occupied buildings at Menatz again in support of the the 8th Army. This was a second 'Apple' with the bombs falling across the buildings.
Many thanks to Martin Hampton, the son in law of Lt. Gay, for sending us this material.
