This page from Lt. D.W. Gay's Log Book covers his flying experiences from 1-4 April 1945.
Operation 27 was an attack on an ammo dump at Malcontenta (close to Venice), and was judged as 'Lemon' as the bombs hit to the right of the target.
Operation 28 was an attack on the Monsanto Marshalling Yards at Gorizia, and was graded 'Lemon' as the bombs overshot.
Many thanks to Martin Hampton, the son in law of Lt. Gay, for sending us this material.
