This page from Lt. D.W. Gay's Log Book covers his flying experiences from 4-21 January 1945, when he only flew on three missions.
Operation 11 was an attack on three bridges at Radele in Yugoslavia. The result was graded as 'Lemon', and the southern of the three bridges was hit.
Operation 12 was an attack on German Barracks at Corte ??, bombing by radar, but the aircraft was unable to reach the bombing area and the bombs were dropped in the sea.
Operation 13 was an attack on a bridge over the Po north of Corbola (close to the mouth of the river), but this time the aircraft suffered from engine problems and the bombs had to be dropped in the sea.
Many thanks to Martin Hampton, the son in law of Lt. Gay, for sending us this material.
