Here we see the Felixstowe F.4 Fury from the side, with the people around it giving an idea of its impressive scale. From this angle the size of the struts between the wings really stands out, and we also get a good view of the biplane tail. The Fury made a succesful maiden flight on 11 November 1918, but crashed on take off in 1919 with the loss of one crewman.
