Duke of Connaught visits MLs of Rhine Patrol, Cologne
Here we see Arthur, Duke of Connaught (the third son of Queen Victoria) visiting Motor Launches of the British Rhine Patrol at Cologne, in May 1919. The Duke had a long military career and carried out many largely ceremonial duties during and after the war, which he started as Governor-General of Canada.
