Here we see Boulton Paul Defiant TT.Mk I DR863 at Boulton Paul's Wolverhamption airfield. Note the propeller mounted on the right of the fuselage, used with the air powered winch. This aircraft underwent tests at the Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment and then went to the Gunnery Research Unit at Exeter
