Conning Tower of U-boat forced to surface
Here we see the conning tower of a U-boat that had been forced to the surface by depth charges from a Flower class corvette. The exact type of U-boat isn't easy to identify from this angle, but some pictures of Type VIIC U-boats show this type of small conning tower.
