Celebrating the Armistice, Ottawa
Here we see crowds celebrating the Armistice in Connaught Place, Ottawa on 11 November 1918. At the time the square was being used to promote Canada's Victory Loan, so had an open air cinema, 'Sand-bag Tea Hut' and captured enemy guns, all of were used in the celebrations.
