CANT Z.506 abandoned at Augusta

Here we see a CANT Z.506 flying boat captured after Augusta, Sicily, fell to the British on 13 July 1943, soon after the start of Operation Husky. The three engined Z.506 was a very effective flying boat, used in a wide range of roles during its career.
