Canadians on HMT Olympic, 1919
Here we see Canadian troops about to leave Southampton onboard HMT Olympic, on their way back to Canada. The Olympic carried 5,000 N.C.O.s and men and 200 officers on this voyage. During the First World War she carried over 200,000 troops. She was the older sister ship of the Titanic, and by far the most successful of the three Olympic class liners.
