Lockheed C-60 Lodestar Ambulance, Tunisia
Here we see a casualty being prepared to be loaded into a Lockheed C-60 Lodestar air ambulance, at some point during the fighting in Tunisia. He appears to have been moved from the standard stretcher on the right to a smaller model, possibly to fit into the Lodestar, which wasn't the largest of cargo aircraft, and had a side door not ideal for long items such as the stretcher.
