British troops at Narin Kupri Bridge, 1918
Here we see British troops under the command of General William Marshall, commander-in-chief in Mesopotamia, resting on a riverbank while engineers repair the bridge at Narin Kupri, which was damaged by retreating Ottoman troops. The location and date is unclear, but it probably dates to the spring of 1918, and the area of Mesopotamia.
