British Sentry on Suspension Bridge at Cologne
Here we see a British sentry on guard on the Deutzer Hängebrücke, a suspension bridge that crossed the Rhine at Cologne. To his left is the German ticket collector, suggesting that the fairly newly constructed bridge (completed during the First World War) was a toll bridge.
