Bridge near Kangavar, Persian, 1918
Here we see an ancient stone bridge ten miles north of the city of Kangavar in northern Persia, being used by Dunsterforce, a British force that was sent across northern Iran to protect the oilfields at Baku and support ant-Soviet forces.
