Here we see the twin machine guns carried on a ring mount on the rear cockpit of a Breguet 14 A.2, at Villeneuve airfield on 16 December 1917. The addition of the ring mount was obviously an afterthought, with only a small part of it in contact with the rim of the cockpit.
