Here we see a Breguet 14 B.2 biplane bomber about to take off from Amanty on 29 July 1918. The B.2 can be identified by the square window below the rear cockpit, installed to improve the downwards view of the bomb aimer. This aircraft was serving with the American 96th Aero Squadron, the only American squadron to operate the type.
