Bomb Damage at Elmas, Sardinia
Here we see damage caused to the German airfield at Elmas, Sardinia, by RAF bombers based on Malta, in order to prevent the German using the airfield to intervene in Operation Torch. 'A' marks a damaged ammo dump - note the thick sloped walls. 'B' marks a damaged hanger, although from this angle it looks like the damage was quite limited.
