Blenheims of No.2 Group attack MV Delaware
Here we see Blenheims of No.2 Group attacking the MV Delaware, part of a convoy attack off the Dutch coast, in 1941. Nos.105 and 139 Squadrons were involved in the battle, losing three aircraft during the attack with two more crashing on landing. The Delaware was damaged on 7 June 1941 but was repaired and returned to service. She was finally sunk in 1945.
