American Paratrooper admires medals of French Spahi
Here we see an American Paratrooper admiring the medals of a native French Spahi cavalryman, at some point in the Tunisian campaign. During the Tunisian campaign some Spahi regiments were motorised, but others remained cavalry to carry out patrols in North African terrain unsuited to vehicles.
