Battery of Royal Field Artillery east of Rhine, 1919
Here we see a battery of the Royal Field Artillery pictured thirteen miles east of the Rhine, during the entry into Germany of the first British Army of the Rhine in 1919. The area around Cologne was occupied by the British until 1926.
