R.A.M.C. Orderlies carrying wounded German

Here we see two R.A.M.C. orderlies (presumably two more are at the back out of shot!), carrying a wounded German on a stretcher. The picture was taken in September-October 1918 during the British advance, a time when a great many wounded Germans were captured.

Follows a doctor who reached the front during the period of mobile warfare in 1914 and was present at Ypres, the Somme and Passchendaele.
