Side view of HMS Audacious
A side view of HMS Audacious, a British super-dreadnought that was sunk by a German mine on 27 October 1914. The picture was published over a month after the sinking, with the implication that the ship was still part of the fleet. Note the arrangement of the five turrets, with one in the centre of the ship.
