Formation of Lockheed C-60s towing Waco CG-4As
Here we see a sizable formation of Lockeed C-60s towing a formation of Waco CG-4As. Note the tow cable, which can be seen clearly in the foreground, including one connectiong two aircraft both of which are out of frame! These C-60s may have belong to the 54th Troop Carrier Squadron , which used the type while based in the Continental United States.
