4.5in gun in action, North Africa, 1942
Here we see a BL 4.5in medium field gun of the Royal Artillery in action somewhere in North Africa in 1942. The 4.5in gun was just entering production at the outbreak of the war, and was available in significant numbers for the campaigns of 1942.
