21st Canadians crossing the Rhine at Bonn
Here we see a battalion from the 21st Canadians crossing the Rhine at Bonn in front of the Canadian Corps Commander, General Sir Arthur Currie. This dates the picture to 1919, as the Corps was disbanded in that year. This bridge was destroyed by the Nazis in 1945 and the modern Kennedy Bridge built on the same location.
