
Here we see troops from the British 17th Division concentrated at Henencourt on 26 March 1918, where they were serving as the V Corps reserve during the retreat caused by the start of Operation Michael, the first of the German spring offensives. The troops we see here are probably from the 7th (Service) Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment and the 7th (Service) Battalion, Border Regiment, both part of the 51st Brigade.
