Eighth Air Force Heavy Bomber Mission No. 62: 252 aircraft sent to attack U-boat yards at Wilhelmshaven. 168 attack the primary target, 30 attack the port area at Cuxhaven and 20 attack outer targets of opportunity. Eight aircraft lost.
