De Gaulle and Giraud come to an agreement about sharing power, much to the relief of Churchill and Roosevelt. Giraud is soon pushed into the background.
Italy
Fifty Allied aircraft bomb the airfield at Alghero, on the west coast of Sardinia. Amongst them are the three B-26 Marauders seen here.
