War at Sea

First US troop convoy (the transports Tenadores, Saratoga and Havana) leaves the United States heading for Europe. Amongst her escorts are the destroyers USS Parker (DD-48), USS Roe (DD-24), USS Terry (DD-25), USS Wilkes (DD-67) , USS DeKalb and the cruiser USS Seattle.
