A collection of eyewitness accounts, mainly from Mosquito crewmen, looking at the remarkable achievements of one of the best British aircraft of the Second World War, all tied together by Bowman's explanatory text. Gives a good idea of the wide variety of missions undertaken by the Mosquito and the atmosphere in the squadrons. [read full review]

The autobiography of a radar operator who took part in some of the most important spells of night-fighting during the Second World War, including the early days of radar interception and the desperate defence of Malta. Mosquito Aces of World War 2, Andrew Thomas. This volume concentrates on the fighter variants of the Mosquito, looking at their role as a defensive fighter, both over Britain and overseas and their use during the D-Day invasion to protect the fleet. Thomas also looks at the career of the Mosquito as a night intruder over Germany, where it became the scourge of the German night fighters, often being blamed for losses miles from the nearest Mosquito.
