Nakajima Ki-117

The Nakajima Ki-117 was to have been a high altitude version of the Nakajima Ki-84 Army Type 4 fighter. It was developed as the Ki-84N, was powered by a 2,500hp Nakajima engine and had a larger wing, with an area of 249.19 square feet. Work on the Ki-117 was only in the early design stage at the end of the war.
