Battle that helped end the first Baron's War. Lincoln castle was being besieged by forces loyal to Louis of France and the rebels, who were camped in the city of Lincoln. They were attacked by supporters of the young King Henry III, and were trapped between those forces and the besieged troops, and defeated.
