Armstrong-Whitworth Whitley in Flight
This side view of the Armstrong-Whitworth Whitley in flight shows its unusual attitude in level flight. The angle of the wings meant that it flew with its tail high, so this aircraft, despite appearances, is actually in level flight and not descending.
