U-boats at Kiel

This aerial photos shows a group of U-boats and small surface warships at Kiel. '1' marks two Type XIV supply boats (the famous Milk Cows used to extend the range of operational submarines). '2' is a new Nazi torpedo boat, possibly a 1939 Type Torpedo Boat, launched between 1941 and 1944. '3' was described in the wartime caption as a 1,600t submarine mine layer, making it a Type XB. The are also quite a few of the standard Type VII submarines, and some smaller warships.
